All\u2019ecografia si evidenzia una formazione ben delimitata di 1,8 x 2 cm. Alla mammografia, lesione BIRADS 3. Si propone l\u2019escissione della formazione e biopsia ex tempore. Viene eseguita resezione settoriale e biopsia ex tempore, che risulta in fibroadenoma con focolai atipici (adenosi mammaria). Si amplia la resezione mammaria. Viene eseguito il rimodellamento del seno e plastica secondo Benelli. Il materiale viene inviato per biopsia definitiva e IHC. Riportiamo questo caso per sottolineare che ogni formazione mammaria deve essere valutata attentamente, poich\u00e9 pu\u00f2 rappresentare un candidato a trasformazione maligna in futuro, come evidenziato dalla biopsia che mostra piccoli focolai atipici.
